Sabriye Şengül — Biography
Sabriye Şengül is a Turkish athlete born on November 12, 1988, in the Şalpazarı district of Trabzon. She began her sporting career in handball before moving into boxing and kickboxing, winning the Turkish championship three times in those disciplines and holding K1 World Mix and international boxing titles. She became widely known in 2017 after taking part in the Tv8 reality competition Survivor, hosted and produced by Acun Ilıcalı.
Şengül has continued to compete successfully in the ring, winning a gold medal in January 2026 after knocking out a Hungarian opponent in just two rounds, and drawing attention in May 2026 for her strength during another bout. In March 2026 she joined the cast of the television series Kırmızı Yol, adding acting to her sporting career.
In April 2026, she shared a message on social media announcing a personal loss and asking her followers for their well wishes.
