Sacit Seldüz — Biography
Sacit Seldüz (born 2 January 1924 – died 14 September 2018) was a versatile figure in Turkish sport, leaving his mark as a basketball player, volleyball player and coach. He played for Fenerbahçe's men's basketball and volleyball teams and also represented Turkey's national basketball and national volleyball squads.
As a basketball player, Seldüz was part of Turkey's squad at the 1952 Helsinki Summer Olympics. After his playing career, he moved into coaching and led Fenerbahçe's men's basketball team.
Seldüz died in 2018 at the age of 94, remembered as one of the rare Turkish athletes to represent the national team in two different sports before going on to a coaching career.
