Sadık Şendil — Biography
Sadık Şendil (28 February 1913, İstanbul – 26 July 1986, İstanbul) was a Turkish screenwriter and writer.
He began his professional career writing screenplays in 1953 and went on to write close to 200 screenplays for Turkish cinema, as well as eight plays for the stage. He is remembered above all for the Kemal Sunal comedies and the Hababam Sınıfı series, and he also wrote the lyrics of the well-known song Yılda Bir Gün. For a time he worked with Müjdat Gezen at the Güldürü Üretim Merkezi. His scripts were filmed mainly by Ertem Eğilmez and Sırrı Gültekin.
