Şamil Ünal (born 23 August 1986 in Bruchsal, Germany) is a Turkish former professional footballer. He was born in the Baden-Württemberg town of Bruchsal and is listed in reference databases as a Turkish citizen.

Ünal played his football in Turkey, almost entirely with clubs outside the top division. Turkish media reported his signings with Aydınspor 1923 in the summer of 2014, a move to Tarsus in 2015, an agreement with Cizrespor in 2017 and a transfer to Akşehirspor at the end of 2018 — sides competing in the lower national tiers and in the regional amateur league.
