Selin Türkmen — Biography

Selin Türkmen was born on 1 August 2000 in Osmaniye and has pursued parallel careers in acting and law. She studied law at Kocaeli University, and in April 2026 she announced that she had completed her legal traineeship and formally registered with the bar association, saying she had long dreamed of the moment. On screen she is best known for playing Çimen in the long-running series Kızılcık Şerbeti, a role that brought her wide recognition, and she also appeared as Aslı Erdem in the 2024 series Karadut.

In the spring of 2026 she announced she was leaving Kızılcık Şerbeti, a decision that came after a period of building her legal career alongside her acting work. Beyond her television roles, she has taken on advertising and brand partnerships, including an appearance at a jewelry brand's summer event in Antalya. Her combination of an established acting career with a completed law degree and bar admission made her a recurring subject of entertainment coverage during her time on Kızılcık Şerbeti, much of it focused on how she balanced the two professions.
