Şenay Aydın — Biography

Şenay Aydın was born on March 31, 1983, in Bitlis. She began her film career playing Zühre in the 2007 film Saklı Yüzler (Hidden Faces), a role that first brought her attention.

Known for her work in independent cinema, Aydın also appeared in the 2012 film Jin, and went on to build a career that includes productions such as Şimdiki Zaman, Asasız Musa, and Ayna Ayna, establishing her as a recognizable figure in Turkish independent film.

Several of the projects she has taken part in draw on the cultural texture of her native Bitlis, and her work has attracted attention from critics at the festivals where these films were shown.
