Sinan Aygün — Biography
Sinan Aydın Aygün (born 10 March 1959, Ankara) is a Turkish businessman and politician who served as a member of parliament for Ankara in the 24th term.
Aygün completed his primary, middle and high school education in Ankara and graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature at Gazi University. He then went into business and is still active in construction contracting and the trade of building materials. He served as president of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce, to which he was first elected in 1997, until 2011. Between 2005 and 2011 he also chaired the Chambers of Commerce Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). Following the Turkish general election held on 12 June 2011, he entered parliament as a CHP member of parliament for Ankara.
