Süleyman Özdamar — Biography

Süleyman Özdamar was born on 25 February 1993 in the Konak district of İzmir and started out in the youth system of Altay. He signed a professional contract with the club in 2008 and was promoted to its reserve (A2) side; around the same time he was called up to Turkey's U-15 national team, and his performances drew the attention of several Süper Lig clubs, leading to a move to Gaziantepspor in the 2010-11 season.

Özdamar made his Süper Lig debut on 17 May 2013. Over the course of his career he went on to play for clubs including Bozüyükspor, Gölcükspor, Bayrampaşa, Aydınspor 1923, Silivrispor, Başkent Akademi, Bodrumspor and Turgutluspor, spending most of that time in the 1. Lig and 2. Lig, and rejoined Bodrumspor in January 2020.

As a youth international he was called up dozens of times to Turkey's age-group teams, representing the country at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup and earning caps from U-15 through U-18 level, scoring in international competition along the way. He signed for TFF 2. Lig club Elazığspor in July 2025 and agreed terms with Kütahyaspor in June 2026.
