Talât Yörük — Biography
Talât Yörük was born in 1941 in Istanbul. He built his football career playing for Ankara Karagücü.
He wore the national team shirt only once in his career, in a match played on 25 July 1965. The Turkish national side, managed by Doğan Andaç, faced Iran at Amjadiyah Stadium in the RCD Cup, later renamed the ECO Cup. With the score still goalless, the floodlights failed and the Pakistani referee in charge, Masood Rahmani, was forced to abandon the match in the 85th minute. That game remains the only cap Yörük earned for the national team.
