Tarık Emir Tekin — Biography
Born on 15 June 1997 in Istanbul, Tarık "Taro" Emir Tekin is a Turkish actor who trained at the Oxford School of Drama. He is the son of Beşiktaş football legend, coach and commentator Metin Tekin and actress-singer Şevval Sam, and the grandson of singer Leman Sam.
Tekin's career began with the role of Selçuk Dağcı in the 2020 series Sadakatsiz, followed by an appearance in Bir Peri Masalı and his military service in 2022. He reached a wider audience playing Kaya in Yalı Çapkını before leaving that production in the summer of 2024, and as of 2026 he stars as Koray Karanoğlu in the series Aynı Yağmur Altında.
