Taşkın Aksoy — Biography
Born on 13 June 1967 in West Berlin, Taşkın Aksoy is a German-born football figure of Turkish background who moved into coaching after retiring as a player. During his playing career he turned out for Hertha BSC, Kocaelispor, Kayserispor and Boluspor.
As a coach, Aksoy spent several years leading Gençlerbirliği, including a difficult 2022 campaign in which the club fought against relegation; after a run of disappointing results he parted ways with the club in November 2022.
