Taylan Antalyalı — Biography

Taylan Antalyalı was born on 8 January 1995 in the Yatağan district of Muğla. He began playing football in 2006 with the youth system of his hometown club Muğlaspor, and was spotted by scouts from Bucaspor in 2009, who signed him and kept him in their junior sides until 2011.

He signed a professional contract with Bucaspor in 2012 and made his 1.Lig debut soon after; by the 2013-14 season the midfielder had become a regular starter and scored his first career goal. Ahead of the 2014-15 season he moved to Gençlerbirliği, gaining his first taste of Süper Lig football, but with limited playing time there he was sent on loan to Kayseri Erciyesspor partway through 2015-16.

He went on to establish himself with several of Turkey's leading top-flight clubs and has earned nine caps for the Turkey national team. A key midfielder for Çaykur Rizespor in the 2026 season, he drew attention in April for sharply criticizing a penalty decision awarded in a match against Fenerbahçe.
