Tevfik Köse — Biography
Tevfik Köse (born 12 July 1988 in Düsseldorf) is a German-born Turkish professional footballer who plays as a forward. He stands 1.80 m, holds both Turkish and German citizenship, and his parents come from the Turkish province of Bayburt.
Köse began his career in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen, from where he was loaned to Ankaraspor. In Turkey he went on to play for İstanbul Başakşehir, Boluspor, Çaykur Rizespor, Osmanlıspor and Kayserispor, and in 2017 he was reported to have joined Büyükşehir Gaziantepspor. In the later part of his career he is described as having returned to Germany to play for DV Solingen.
He represented Turkey at under-17, under-19, under-20 and under-21 level as well as with the A2 side. He is reported to have finished as top scorer at the 2005 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, and around that time the Turkish press nicknamed him "the new Aykut Kocaman".
