Apontes

Apontes (Greek: Απόντες) is a 1996 Greek drama film directed by Nikos Grammatikos, who co-wrote the screenplay with writer Nikos Panayotopoulos. Originally in Greek, the film is also known internationally under the English titles Truants and The Absent Ones.

The cast features Nikos Georgakis, Giorgos Evgenikos, Vangelis Mourikis, Tasos Nousias, Costas Staridas and Aimilios Cheilakis, with Minas Chatzisavvas also appearing. Running 115 minutes, the film won best film honors at both the Greek State Film Awards and the Greek Film Critics Association Awards, establishing it as one of the standout Greek productions of its period.
