Camille

Camille is a 2019 French biographical drama directed by Boris Lojkine, who co-wrote the screenplay with Bojina Panayotova. The film portrays the final months in the life of French photojournalist Camille Lepage.

An idealistic young photojournalist, Camille travels to the Central African Republic to document the civil war tearing the country apart in 2013-2014. What begins as an assignment soon becomes a deep passion for her. Continuing her work amid the conflict, she is found dead at the age of 26 in a suspicious vehicle alongside a political leader.

Nina Meurisse stars as Camille Lepage, with Bruno Todeschini and Grégoire Colin also in the cast. Produced by Unité, the film brings the story of a real journalist's commitment to war reporting to the screen.
