Crustacés et Coquillages

Crustacés et Coquillages is a 2005 French comedy-drama written and directed by Olivier Ducastel and Jacques Martineau. A romantic comedy with musical elements, it opened in France on 30 March 2005 and was released in North America as Côte d'Azur and in the United Kingdom and Ireland as Cockles & Muscles.

The story follows a family that leaves Paris to spend the summer at a house on the Côte d'Azur inherited from a deceased aunt. Young Charly, whom his parents believe to be gay, and his friend Martin join the holiday, and by the seaside the family members and those around them become entangled in stories of love and identity, while an old connection is rekindled. Running about 90 minutes, the film stars Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, Gilbert Melki and Jean-Marc Barr as a local plumber.
