Die Musterknaben

Die Musterknaben is a German crime comedy directed by Ralf Huettner, first shown in 1997. It follows two thoroughly mismatched Cologne investigators, Docker and Dretzke, who blunder their way through their cases while chasing their private romances, gently poking fun at the conventions of the German police procedural. Hilmi Sözer is among the cast. Warmly received, the comedy earned several television-film honours and went on to spawn further instalments.
