Ghanbar Coffeehouse
Ghanbar Coffeehouse (Persian: Qahvehâne-ye Qanbar) is an Iranian film from 1969 — year 1348 in the Iranian calendar — directed by Manouchehr Sadeghpour and written by Manouchehr Keymaram. Shot in Persian, it forms part of the country's pre-revolutionary cinema output.
Its principal performers include Hassan Rezaei, Mohsen Arasteh and Farangis Farahzadi. Records also credit Jahangir Forouhar, Asadollah Yekta, Farideh Nasiri and Ebrahim Fakhar in the cast, and indicate that Sadeghpour appeared on screen as well as directing. Documentation about the production that survives today is very limited, and the available sources give no detailed account of its story.
