Golden Eagle

Golden Eagle (Persian: Aghab-e Talayi) is a 1970 Iranian feature film written and directed by Kamal Danesh, dated to the year 1349 of the Iranian calendar. Running roughly ninety minutes and shot in Persian, it belongs to the commercial cinema that flourished in Iran during the years leading up to the 1979 revolution. Firuz and Farhad Hamidi head the cast, while records also list performers such as Lili Rezvani, Reza Banki, Nariman Shirifard and Leila Forouhar, who appeared as a child. Detailed information about the film's story and production has survived only sparsely, a common situation for popular Iranian pictures of that era. Even so, the film continues to be noted in filmographies as part of the country's early-1970s output and as a product of its pre-revolutionary popular film industry.
