Ibn Sina (Ibn-I Sina) (translated)

Ibn Sina is a 2023 Turkish television series depicting the childhood years of the historical physician and thinker of the same name. Also recorded under the title Küçük Dahi: İbni Sina ("Little Genius: Ibn Sina"), it premiered on 7 May 2023 and blends drama with a documentary-style narrative approach.

The show follows Ibn Sina as an inquisitive boy whose intelligence surpasses his years: rather than playing games with his peers, he pores repeatedly over Aristotle's Metaphysics, and spends much of his time with his closest companion, a goat named Socrates. As with similar dramatizations, the events depicted on screen are a fictional reenactment aimed at young viewers rather than a literal historical record.
