Ladder of Progress

Ladder of Progress (Nardeban-e Taraghi) is a 1957 Iranian film directed and written by Parviz Khatibi. Shot in Persian, the film runs 120 minutes and stands among the feature productions of Iranian cinema of its era.

Its cast includes Farrokhlagha Houshmand and Ahmad Qadakchian alongside performers such as Ali Tabesh, Niktkaj Sabri, Parkhide, Mahvash and Shahin. Bearing Khatibi's signature as both director and screenwriter, the film is counted among the works of 1950s Iranian cinema history.
