Masterchef Turkey (MasterChef Türkiye)

MasterChef Turkey is a Turkish competitive cooking reality show based on the original British MasterChef format. Its first season aired on Show TV in 2011; after a long hiatus, the program returned to screens on TV8 on September 1, 2018. In the competition, amateur chefs are divided into two groups, Blue and Red, and battle through eliminations for the main title.

In the 2011 season, Murat Bozok, Batuhan Piatti and Erol Kaynar served as judges while Öykü Serter presented the show. For the 2018 season, Mehmet Yalçınkaya, Hazer Amani and Somer Sivrioğlu joined as the new judging panel, and from 2019 onwards Italian chef Danilo Zanna replaced Amani. Hakan Kanık was among the contestants of the 2018 season.
