Musallat 2 (Musallat 2: Lanet)

Musallat 2: Lanet is a 2011 Turkish horror film directed and written by Alper Mestçi, released in cinemas on 2 December 2011. A follow-up to the 2007 film Musallat, it went through a six-month preparation period, with shooting taking place in the villages of İhsaniye and Sansarak in İznik as well as in Istanbul.

The story follows Elif, a young teacher whose life is haunted by an irreversible curse rooted in her infancy — a period she cannot remember — forcing her to confront this dark chapter of her past. Türkü Turan stars alongside Tülay Bursa, Selim Gürata and Zeliha Güney. The film was seen by 513,593 viewers in Turkish cinemas, ranking it among the more successful domestic horror releases of its era.
