Nightfall in India

Nightfall in India (Anochece en la India) is a 2014 road movie written and directed by Spanish filmmaker Chema Rodríguez. Blending romance, drama, and adventure, it is an international co-production of Spain, Romania, and Sweden, led by Producciones Sin Un Duro and Jaleo Films, with the screenplay co-written by David Planell.

Running about 94 minutes, the film follows Ricardo, an elderly wheelchair-bound man who sets out for India in a rundown van. Filming began in Bucharest in 2012, continued through Spain and Turkey, and wrapped in Almería and India in 2013. Starring Juan Diego, Clara Vodă, and Javier Pereira, the film opened in Spanish cinemas on 11 April 2014.
