Requiem for a Killer

Requiem for a Killer (original title: Requiem pour une tueuse) is a 2011 French thriller film directed by Jérôme Le Maire. The story unfolds around a lavish opera production staged at a castle by a lake. A celebrated young singer is invited to take the lead role, while a professional assassin is hired to kill her during the performance. As rehearsals progress, the killer's path crosses with his intended victim, and his carefully prepared plan begins to waver under the weight of unexpected feelings. The cast includes Mélanie Laurent, Clovis Cornillac, Tchéky Karyo and Philippe Morier-Genoud.
