The Fourth Wall
The Fourth Wall (original title Quarta parete) is a Franco-Italian drama film directed by Adriano Bolzoni and produced in 1968-1969. Bolzoni also co-wrote the screenplay together with Guy Pérol, and the picture was released in France under the title La Limite du péché. Running about 90 minutes, it stands among Bolzoni's directorial works in cinema.
The cast features Paolo Carlini and Don Backy alongside performers from Italian and international film such as Peter Lawford, Françoise Prévost, Bernard Blier, Paolo Turco, Carla Romanelli, Germano Longo and Franco Giacobini. Shot as a co-production between Italy and France, the film is regarded as an example of the European drama cinema of its period.
