The Lamp of Magic
The Lamp of Magic (Cheragh-e Jadu) is a 13-episode Iranian television series co-directed by Homayoun As'adian and Masoud Karamati, which aired in 2001 on IRIB TV1. Filmed in Persian, the production blends drama, comedy, fantasy and romance elements.
The screenplay was written by Bahman Motamedian, Abbas Nemati, Homayoun As'adian and Soroush Sehhat. The cast features Dariush AsadZadeh and Farrokhlagha Houshmand alongside performers such as Mehdi Hashemi, Anahita Hemmati, Fathali Oveisi and Akbar Dudkar.
