The Man Called Noon
The Man Called Noon is a 1973 Spaghetti Western directed by Peter Collinson and made as a co-production between the United Kingdom, Italy and Spain. The screenplay, written by Scott Finch, adapts Louis L'Amour's 1970 novel of the same name.
Richard Crenna and Stephen Boyd head the cast, supported by performers such as Rosanna Schiaffino, Farley Granger, Aldo Sambrell, Patty Shepard and Ángel del Pozo. Shot in English, the film runs about 98 minutes and was released theatrically in 1973. In Germany it appeared under the title Der Mann aus El Paso, while French audiences knew it as Les Colts au soleil.
