The Millionaire

The Millionaire (Arabic: El Millioner) is a 1950 black-and-white comedy film from the Kingdom of Egypt, directed by Helmy Rafla and written by Abu El-Saud El-Ibiari.

The film is headlined by Ismail Yassine, one of the most celebrated comedians of Egyptian cinema's golden age. The supporting cast includes Camelia, Farid Shawqi, Zinat Sidqi, Souad Makkawi, Wedad Hamdy, Seraj Munir and Stephan Rosti. Like many of Yassine's starring vehicles of the era, the picture builds its humor around his signature comic persona and remains part of the popular comedy tradition of classic Egyptian filmmaking.
