The Silent Hunt

The Silent Hunt (original Persian title: Shekar-e Khamoosh) is a 1989 Iranian comedy film written and directed by Kiumars Pourahmad. Produced by Nasser Majdbigdeli and Foad Nour, the film was released in Iranian cinemas on 10 January 1991.

Shot in Persian, the film stars Farrokhlagha Houshmand and Farhad Hamidi alongside a cast that includes Mehdi Hashemi, Alireza Khamsehnia, Golab Adineh, Sam Qaribian, Sirous Gorjestani and Reza Safayipur. It stands as one of the comedy titles in Pourahmad's body of work in Iranian cinema.
