Utopia (Ütopya) (translated)

Ütopya is the Turkish adaptation of the Dutch reality format Utopia, created by John de Mol. After Acun Ilıcalı acquired the format rights, the Acun Medya production began airing on TV8 on October 29, 2014, and concluded on September 20, 2015. The format follows a group of participants who attempt to build and sustain their own society in a remote, enclosed area, where contestants must set their own rules for everything from production and division of labor to communal living.

After a run of nearly a year, the finale held in the Ütopya hangar combined votes from former contestants, newspaper sales, and SMS voting. In this three-part evaluation, Tuncay Kes defeated his rival 2-1 to become the champion, while Semih Öztürk finished second and Serkan Ercan took third place.
