Weather Is Good on Deribasovskaya, It Rains Again on Brighton Beach

Directed by Leonid Gaidai as his final film, this Russian–American co-production is a spy comedy released in 1992 under the Mosfilm banner, from a screenplay by Gaidai and Arkady Inin.

The film's long title, which invokes Odessa's famous Derybasivska Street and New York's Brighton Beach, serves in the plot as a password exchanged between secret agents. Blending crime comedy and parody, the 97-minute Russian-language feature stars Dmitry Kharatyan, Kelly McGillis, Armen Cigarhanyan, Mamuka Kikaleishvili, Leonid Kuravlyov and Andrey Myagkov.
