What a Flash!

What a Flash! is a 1972 French experimental film written and directed by Jean-Michel Barjol. Headlined by Bernadette Lafont and Maria Schneider, its large ensemble also includes notable performers of the period such as Diane Kurys, Jean-Claude Dreyfus, Serge Marquand and Tonie Marshall. Made in France, the picture is regarded as an example of the French experimental cinema movement of the early 1970s. Standing apart from conventional narrative filmmaking, it remains one of the distinctive works of Barjol's career as a director.
