Tunay Torun — Biography
Tunay Torun (born 21 April 1990 in Hamburg) is a Turkish former international footballer. Born and raised in Germany, the 1.79 m tall winger holds both Turkish and German citizenship.
He began his career in Germany with clubs such as Hamburger SV, VfB Stuttgart and Hertha BSC, before moving to Kasımpaşa in 2014. He later played for Bursaspor, Fatih Karagümrük and Çaykur Rizespor, returning to Kasımpaşa in 2022.
Capped at various Turkish youth levels as well as for the senior national team, Torun has worked as an assistant coach in the Hertha BSC youth setup since 2024.
