Ulviye Karaca — Biography

Ulviye Karaca was born on March 1, 1968, in Ankara and completed her education in the Theatre Department of the Faculty of Languages, History and Geography at Ankara University. She spent many years on stage with the State Theatres and, alongside acting, also worked as a theatre director and playwright.

She became widely known to television audiences for playing Zühre in the Star TV series Beni Affet, and also appeared in productions such as Gençliğim Eyvah and Gönül Dağı. During the 2025-2026 season she played the character Şükriye in the series Taşacak Bu Deniz.

In early 2026 she announced her departure from the cast of Taşacak Bu Deniz and issued a personal statement clarifying that some of the public commentary surrounding her decision did not accurately reflect the situation.
