Ümit Erdim — Biography
Ümit Erdim (born 15 June 1985 in Kocaeli) is a Turkish actor and television presenter. After finishing İzmit Atılım Anadolu High School he studied at the Istanbul University Conservatory, and between 1998 and 2003 he appeared on stage with the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality City Theatres.
He made his screen debut as a guest in the series Böyle mi Olacaktı in 1997 and became widely known as Varmışsın Arif in Hayat Bilgisi (2003). He went on to appear in series such as Selena, Adanalı (2008–2010) and Doksanlar (2013).
His film credits include Bu İşte Bir Yalnızlık Var (2013), Can Tertip (2015), 4N1K (2017), Bücür (2018) and Kim Daha Mutlu? (2019), and he voiced roles in the Turkish dubs of the How to Train Your Dragon films. He is also a licensed pilot.
