Ümit Ergirdi — Biography

Ümit Ergirdi was born on 5 November 1981 in Berlin, Germany, and holds dual Turkish-German citizenship. His playing career was brief and unfolded in Germany's lower divisions, where he made five appearances in the 3. Liga for SV Babelsberg 03.

Ergirdi chose to step away from professional football at a relatively early stage, turning instead to academic life; he went on to complete a law degree at the Free University of Berlin. His short but notable stint on the pitch was thus followed by a shift toward a legal career.
