Ümit Korkmaz — Biography
Ümit Korkmaz (born 17 September 1985 in Vienna) is an Austrian retired footballer of Turkish descent who played as a winger.
With Rapid Wien, where he played from 2006 to 2008, he won the Austrian championship. He made his debut for the Austria national team on 27 May 2008 in a friendly against Nigeria (1–1) and represented his country at UEFA Euro 2008.
From 2008 to 2012 he played for Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany; he later appeared for clubs including FC Ingolstadt 04, VfL Bochum and Çaykur Rizespor in Turkey. After ending his playing career he moved into coaching.
