Vedat Kapurtu — Biography
Vedat Kapurtu (born 30 June 1978 in Bakırköy, Istanbul) is a Turkish former footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
He spent the 2016-2017 period with Yeni Malatyaspor, where he underwent surgery following an injury, and moved to Tokatspor in August 2017. In 2020, back in the Malatya side's squad, he underwent another operation. He had earlier made headlines when, at 38, he declared he had no intention of retiring from the game.
He is the brother of the singer and actor Sedat Kapurtu, better known as Çılgın Sedat.
