Veysel Sarı — Biography

Veysel Sarı was born in Istanbul in July 1988, the fourth child of a family with roots in Siirt. He began his professional career at Beylerbeyi, where a strong 2008-09 season drew wider attention, and joined Eskişehirspor in 2009; after four and a half seasons there he signed a long-term deal with Galatasaray in 2014.

The right back moved to Kasımpaşa midway through the 2014-15 season and joined Antalyaspor in January 2020. His international career began with Turkey's A2 team in 2011, when he featured in friendlies against Lebanon and Denmark, and he went on to score on his senior debut for the full national team against Latvia after being called up by Abdullah Avcı in 2013. Now Antalyaspor's captain, he had his contract extended by another year by the club in June 2026.
