Yaşam Göksu — Biography

Yaşam Göksu was born on 25 September 1995 in the Konak district of İzmir and has played as a defender throughout her career. A member of the Turkey women's national team since 2010, she came up through the youth ranks and was on the pitch when the under-17 side beat Bulgaria 2-0 in 2013.

At club level she joined Fenerbahçe in the summer of 2022 and has featured for the club in the Turkish Women's Super League, including in a November 2023 derby win over Beşiktaş by a three-goal margin. With more than a decade in the national team setup, she ranks among the more experienced figures in Turkish women's football.
