Yiğit Caner Aydın — Biography
Born on 23 August 1992 in Trabzon, Yiğit Caner Aydın is a Turkish world-champion para-archer who competes in the men's compound bow W1 event. Representing Okçular Vakfı Spor Kulübü, he is also recognized as Turkey's first wheelchair-using television presenter.
Aydın won gold in the individual W1 category at the 2022 World Championships in Dubai, secured a quota place for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games alongside Nil Mısır, and took silver at the 2025 World Championships together with Nihat Türkmenoğlu. In 2026 he gained sponsorship support from Tam Finans and was appointed President of the Paralympic Athletes Council.
