Yunus Mallı — Biography
Yunus Mallı was born on 24 February 1992 in Kassel, Germany. Holding both Turkish and German citizenship, he plays as an attacking midfielder and stands 1.79 m tall.
He turned professional at Mainz 05 in Germany and went on to play for Wolfsburg and Union Berlin. In January 2021 he moved to Trabzonspor, and in Turkey he also appeared for Kasımpaşa and Konyaspor. After 43 appearances for German youth sides he opted to represent Turkey at senior level and was part of the squad at the 2016 European Championship.
In September 2025 he returned to Mainz 05, joining the club's second team in the fourth-tier Regionalliga Südwest. Trabzonspor's official website announced that he had become a father in June 2022.
