Zafer Özgültekin — Biography
Zafer Özgültekin was born on 10 March 1975 in Kangal, Sivas. A goalkeeper by position, the former Turkish international spent a significant part of his playing career at Ankaragücü and closed out his playing days with Denizlispor in the 2010-11 season.
He was part of the Turkey national team that finished third at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, serving as the squad's third goalkeeper. After retiring from playing, he moved into coaching as a goalkeeping coach, working with Beşiktaş before being appointed to the same role at Sivasspor in December 2021, replacing Cengiz Birgen.
