Zerrin Egeliler — Biography

Born Hatice Özügül in 1942, Zerrin Egeliler is a Turkish film actress who began her career in 1977 with the film "Dila Hatun" and took a supporting role in Halit Refiğ's "Yaşam Kavgası."

She rose to become one of the best-known and highest-paid faces of Turkey's softcore-erotic film boom of the late 1970s, working exclusively on soft productions while turning down every offer for hardcore material. In 1979 alone she appeared in 35 films, a feat that earned her an entry in the Guinness Book of Records for the most film appearances by an actor in a single year.

Çıldırtan Kadın, Kadersizler and Acemi Dolandırıcılar number among the notable titles from that prolific stretch. She made her final film in 1981 and subsequently withdrew from public life.
