Zeynep Alkan — Biography

Born Elif Zeynep Alkan on 26 May 1998 in Istanbul, the actress is the daughter of director and actor Hamdi Alkan and Canan Hoşgör and has a sister named Ayşe. At the age of twelve she began appearing in stage productions at Hisar Education Foundation Schools, and she later spent two years studying viola at the Kadıköy State Conservatory. She made her first screen appearance in a small role in her father's 2010 film Dersimiz: Atatürk.

Years later she reached a wider audience playing Emoji Emel in the series Hayat Bazen Tatlıdır, and alongside acting she also became known as a contestant on the reality competition Survivor.

In February 2026, after her name became linked in the press to an OnlyFans investigation involving another individual, Alkan issued a statement explaining that the confusion stemmed from a coincidental similarity of names and that the matter had nothing to do with her.
