Zeynep Bastık — Biography

Zeynep Bastık began her music career in 2010, gaining professional stage experience with a cover band in İzmir and spending a stint as a dancer with Anadolu Ateşi. She then spent several years as a backing vocalist for Murat Dalkılıç, and drawing on that experience released her debut solo single, Fırça, at the end of 2014, launching her own name in Turkish pop.

In 2019 she reached a much broader audience with her own rendition of rapper Ezhel's Felaket, and went on to release original songs including Ara and Eyvah, as well as a duet with Anıl Piyancı titled Bırakman Doğru mu?. During the same period she moved into acting, appearing in the youth dramas Adı Mutluluk, Sil Baştan and Umuda Kelepçe Vurulmaz.

She has fronted advertising campaigns for brands including Adidas and Elidor, hosted a self-titled show on Exxen starting in 2021, and married her manager Tolga Akış that same year before the couple divorced the following year.
