Ali Oğuz Şenol — Biography

Ali Oğuz Şenol is a Turkish stage and television actor, born on 8 June 1984 in Istanbul. After training as an actor, he made his screen debut in 2009 playing Oğuz in the series Yalancısın Sen. The following year he played Levent in the fourth season of Kavak Yelleri, and around the same time took the role of Cenk in Farklı Desenler, which ran for three seasons on Samanyolu TV.

In 2015 he played Ercüment in Çınarın Gölgesinde, and in 2017 took his first leading role in Komşular. He starred in the short film Öteki, which won the best short film award in a competition organized by Beykent University. In a German-made documentary about the Ottoman era he played Pargalı İbrahim, reaching audiences in thirteen countries; he also appeared in the European series Mordkommission İstanbul and hosted a travel program.

In 2016 he reached a wide audience playing Mert in Adını Sen Koy, a TRT series led by Erkan Meriç and Hazal Subaşı. He went on to appear in Bir Aile Hikayesi, and in 2020 played Tolga, a close friend of the character Faruk, in Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir. The 1.83 m actor is married to Kübra Şenol.
