Berna Koraltürk — Biography

Berna Koraltürk was born in Istanbul on 7 June 1989. She studied fashion and textile design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, but despite her training in design she built her professional life around acting. Her first screen work came in 2011 with the series Bizim Yenge, in which she played a character named Berna.

In her early years she appeared in series including Dedemin Dolabı, Her Sevda Bir Veda, Ah Neriman, Ah İstanbul, İşler Güçler and Aşkımız Yeter. The production that made her widely known was Baba Candır, a family series that ran for three seasons on TRT 1 between 2015 and 2017; Ece Güney, the character she played there, remains the role most closely associated with her. In cinema she played Sibel in Yok Artık 2 in 2016, followed by Kardeşim İçin Der'a (2018) and Nalan (2021). In 2019 she was in the cast of the series Vurgun.

In November 2025 she joined TRT 1's Taşacak Bu Deniz as İlve, one of the Gezep twins, a casting move that drew wide press attention. She married director Murat Onbul in 2017; the couple divorced in 2025.
