Betül Kızılok Bavli — Biography

Born on 11 April 1969 in Nazilli, Aydın, Betül Kızılok Bavli is a Turkish actress who has worked across theatre, film and television. After graduating in 1993 from the Theatre Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University, she began her professional career in 1995 at the İstanbul Şehir Tiyatroları, taking part until 1999 in the company's Theatre Research Laboratory alongside Beklan Algan and Ayla Algan while also teaching at the same institution.

Alongside her stage work, Bavli has held long-running television roles, reaching wide audiences through multiple seasons of the series 'Arka Sokaklar' between 2007 and 2018. Over the course of her career she has also appeared in productions such as 'Avrupa Yakası', 'Büyük Buluşma', 'Baba Evi' and 'İstanbul Kanatlarımın Altında', combining film and television work alongside her theatre career.
